Alex Grey is a visionary artist. His work has been featured on the cover of Tool’s Lateralus album and the cover of the book DMT: The Spirit Molecule. He’s known for his extremely detailed anatomical psychedelic paintings.
Prior to his success as a painter, Grey was a performance and conceptual artist known for particularly dark works.
He is a practitioner of Vajrayana Buddhism and a member of Ken Wilber’s Integral Institute.
