Self-help ‘makes you feel worse’ says study

Canadian researchers found those with low self-esteem actually felt worse after repeating positive statements about themselves.

They said phrases such as “I am a lovable person” only helped people with high self-esteem.

    Sort of not the same thing.

  2. Isn’t that a given? Only pathetic miserable losers actually need to repeat trite phrases to themselves. The rest of us are skin to marrow certain of our awesomeness.
